BALTIMORE, Md. (October 27, 2015) – The Colonial Athletic Association announced a comprehensive men’s and women’s basketball broadcast package for the 2015-16 season. The announcement was made during the conference’s Media Day festivities on Tuesday at The Center Club in Baltimore, Md.

As of press time, CAA teams will be featured in 74 televised games thanks in large part to the conference’s agreements with NBCSN, the NBC Sports Regional Networks and the American Sports Network. Additional games will be added to the television schedule prior to the start of the regular season. CAA fans will also be provided with internet broadcasts of hundreds of additional games through CAA.TV, the conference’s digital network. CAA.TV will provide coverage of any non-televised conference games.

“We’re extremely proud and appreciative of our partnerships with the NBC Sports Network, the NBC Sports Regional Networks and the American Sports Network,” said CAA Commissioner Tom Yeager. “They provide tremendous exposure for our men’s and women’s basketball programs. Fans also have the opportunity to watch hundreds of games through our digital network, CAA.TV.”

NBCSN will present nine CAA men’s basketball games to a national television audience this season, including the semifinals and finals of the CAA Men’s Basketball Championship. NBCSN is available in nearly 85 million homes and features coverage of the Summer and Winter Olympics as well as the National Hockey League, Premier League, Formula One, NASCAR, the Tour de France and major college football and basketball.

NBC Sports Regional Networks, which includes CSN Mid-Atlantic, CSN Philadelphia, CSN New England, The Comcast Network and SNY, will televise 22 additional men’s and women’s basketball games, including the quarterfinals of the CAA Men’s Basketball Championship and the semifinals and finals of the CAA Women’s Basketball Championship. NBC Sports Regional Networks consists of 10 regional networks that deliver more than 2,200 live sporting events annually, along with award-winning breaking news, comprehensive analysis, digital content and original programming to more than 43 million homes.

The American Sports Network will televise 16 men’s and women’s contests on affiliate stations throughout the nation. ASN is an initiative of the Sinclair Networks Group, which owns, operates, programs and provides sales services to 164 television stations in 79 markets, reaching approximately 43 million U.S. television households. ASN plans to air more than 375 events in the 2015-16 academic year.

In addition, CAA teams will make appearances on the ESPN family of networks, and other contests will be televised by FS1, CBS Sports Network, the SEC Network, the Big Ten Network, and the ACC Regional Network.
