RICHMOND, Va. (December 4, 2015) – William & Mary senior goalkeeper Caroline Casey and Hofstra senior forward Leah Galton were named All-Americans by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA). Casey earned a spot on the First Team while Galton was named to the Second Team.

Casey, who picked up Senior CLASS First Team All-American honors earlier in the week, had an outstanding season for the Tribe. Casey owned a 0.88 goals-against-average, with 86 saves, and 11 shutouts to help the Tribe earn a share of the CAA Regular Season Championship and an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship. Casey was rewarded for her work on the field this season by being named to the All-CAA First Team, CAA Defender of the Year, and NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team. Casey started every game of her Tribe career dating back to her freshman season and is one of the best goalkeepers in W&M history. She currently ranks second all-time with 301 career saves, while her 29 shutouts rank her third all-time. She owns a 48-18-12 career record with 29 shutouts.

Galton, who was named a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy earlier this week, tallied 12 goals and six assists for 30 points to receive CAA Player of the Year for the third consecutive year and her fourth consecutive All-CAA First Team accolades as well as NSCAA All-Mid-Atlantic Region First Team honors. She helped the Pride earn a share of the 2015 CAA Regular Season Championship and an at-large bid to the NCAA Championship. Galton, a native of Harrogate, England, had an historic career for Hofstra. She is the first player in the history of the conference to secure three consecutive CAA Player of the Year as well as receive four major awards, having been named CAA Rookie of the Year in 2012. Galton finishes her career as Hofstra's all-time points leader (122) and ranked ninth on the CAA charts. Her 48 career goals are second on the team's all-time list and tenth most in CAA history. Her 26 career assists are tied for the program lead and are ranked 11th on the CAA career list.

Galton is Hofstra’s first All-American since 2010 (Tiffany Yovino, Second Team) and only the fourth in program history. Casey is William & Mary’s first All-American since 2012 (Mallory Schaffer, First Team 2011, Second Team 2012).
