CAA WOMEN'S SOCCER WEEKLY REPORT - AUG. 24 (PDF)

RICHMOND, Va. (August 24, 2015) –
University of Delaware’s Natalie Zelenky was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Women’s Soccer Player of the Week while College of William & Mary’s Mackenzie Kober was named CAA Rookie of the Week.

Junior Natalie Zelenky helped Delaware to a 2-0 start to the season by netting three of the Blue Hen's four goals on the weekend, including a game-winner. In the season-opening victory over Loyola (Md.), the forward scored both of Delaware’s goals in the 2-1 win, including the game-winner three minutes into the second overtime period. It was just the second multi-goal game of Zelenky’s career. Against Army on Sunday, Zelenky added an insurance goal in the Blue Hens' 2-0 win.

Freshman Mackenzie Kober made quite the impression in her collegiate debut for William & Mary. In her first collegiate game, she scored a goal and registered an assist in the Tribe’s 5-1 victory over Seton Hall. In the 67th minute she scored an unassisted goal and just 17 seconds later, she found teammate Sami Grasso for the fifth goal of the night. As a defender/midfielder on Sunday, she helped the Tribe defense to its first shutout of the season playing 39 minutes in the 3-0 victory over No. 25 Georgetown.
