Michaela Patzner • Delaware

Patzner recorded 11 points for the No. 14 Blue Hens over the team’s 2-0 week, highlighted by wins over Temple and then-No. 20 Princeton. The senior notched her first career hat trick - also adding one assist - in a 7-4 victory over Temple and became just the seventh player in program history to cross the 100-point plateau. On Sunday, versus the Tigers, Patzner accounted for two assists and one goal. Her helper occurred in the 48th minute and tied the game at 3-3, while her lone tally nearly 10 minutes later proved to be the difference maker in the 4-3 win. Patzner now has 104 career points, good for fourth all-time at Delaware. The Blue Hens (6-0) are off to their best start since the 2007 squad opened the year with a 7-0 record.

ROOKIE OF THE WEEK:

Melissa Wilken • James Madison

Wilken helped the No. 19 Dukes run their winning streak to four games after accounting for a team-high nine points last week. The freshman scored two goals and dished out one assist at Richmond on Friday, a 4-1 win, and then added two more goals in a 7-2 home victory over VCU on Sunday. Wilken is now tied for first in the CAA with 1.00 goals per game. She also ranks first and second, respectively, for the Dukes with 5 goals (tied for the lead) and 11 points this season.
