Hofstra had a tremendous 2015-16, going 25-9 overall, earning an at-large berth in the WNIT, and then advancing all the way to the quarterfinals for the first time in nearly a decade.

For the first time in two seasons, however, Head Coach Krista Kilburn-Steveskey doesn’t return the majority of her lineup. Gone are three of their top-five leading scorers in Darius Faulk and Anjie White, who both exhausted their eligibility, Kelly Loftus, who transferred.

The Pride does return two-time All-CAA Second Team selection Ashunae Durant who led the CAA in double-doubles and averaged 11.4 points and 8.9 points per game. Senior Krystal Luciano is also back after posting 9.0 points, 3.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists per contest. Also returning is center Sandra Dongmo, who averaged 4.5 rebounds per game last season, and Aleana Leon, contributed 4.7 points and 3.1 rebounds off the bench and posted some big numbers in the WNIT.

Hofstra brings in five talented freshmen, four of which are guards who all have the chance to break into the starting lineup.
