CAA Football posted its second win in two days over an FBS opponent as Richmond rolled to an impressive 37-20 victory at Virginia on Saturday afternoon. It's the first time since 2013 that CAA Football has defeated two FBS teams in the same season and the victory snapped the ACC's 68-game winning streak vs. FCS teams dating back to when the Spiders beat Duke in 2011.
Junior quarterback Kyle Lauletta, the CAA preseason Offensive Player of the Year, completed 24-of-35 passes for 337 yards and three touchdowns. The Spiders' defense limited the Cavaliers to 302 total yards and forced four turnovers.
It was also a record-setting night for James Madison, which crushed Morehead State, 80-7, in the first game under coach Mike Houston. For recaps and boxscores from all of Saturday's action,
