Top-ranked James Madison (6-0, 3-0) won its CAA-record 18th-consecutive game by holding off No. 11 Villanova, 30-8. The Dukes' defense held the Wildcats (4-3, 2-2) to 174 total yards and forced three turnovers, which was their fifth straight game allowing less than 300 yards. Jordan Brown made a team-high 12 stops. JMU quarterback Bryan Schor completed 20-of-28 passes for 271 yards and two touchdowns.
Delaware (4-2, 2-1) recorded its first shutout since 2011 and defeated William & Mary, 17-0. The Blue Hens limited the Tribe (2-4, 0-3) to just 196 total yards as Troy Reeded recorded nine tackles and a sack and Colby Reeder added six stops and an interception. UD got a 27-yard TD pass from J.P. Caruso to Jamie Jarmon in the second quarter and sealed the win on a fourth-quarter TD run by Kani Kane.
Maine (2-3, 1-3) overcame an 11-point deficit and rolled past Rhode Island, 51-27. The Black Bears rolled up 533 total yards against the Rams (1-5, 0-3), with freshman quarterback Chris Ferguson completing 18-of-28 passes for 214 yards and five touchdowns, with three going to Jaleel Reed (123 yards). The Black Bears also got 248 yards and a TD rushing by Josh Mack on 30 carries.
Richmond (4-2, 2-1) turned in its best defensive effort of the year in a 23-3 victory at Towson. The Spiders forced six turnovers and recorded four sacks while keeping the Tigers (2-4, 0-3) out of the end zone. UR safety Daniel Jones picked off two passes and made five tackles. Offensively, Kyle Lauletta passed for 325 yards and 2 TD's to become the Spiders' all-time passing leader with 9,076 yards.
Stony Brook (5-2, 4-1) scored 22 unanswered points in the second half and earned a 38-24 victory over No. 12 New Hampshire (4-2, 2-1). SBU's Stacey Bedell ran for 157 yards and a TD and Joe Carbone passed for a pair of touchdowns. Defensively, the Seawolves held the Wildcats to -10 yards rushing and forced three turnovers as Gavin Heslop made nine tackles and forced a fumble. UNH's Trevor Knight threw for 373 yards, with Neil O'Connor making 13 catches for 182 yards.
