Frshman quarterback Ryan Stover hit Sam Gallahan for an 18-yard touchdown pass with 35 seconds remaining to lift Towson (3-5, 1-4) past No. 23 Delaware, 18-17. Stover finished 20-of-32 passing for 187 yards and 2 TD's and also added a team-high 56 yards rushing on eight carries. The Blue Hens (5-3, 3-2) got a game-high 113 yards on the ground from Kani Kane and Kareem Williams added 80 yards and a TD on 12 carries.
Top-ranked James Madison (8-0, 5-0) got another dominant defensive effort as it blanked No. 17 New Hampshire, 21-0. The Dukes extended their nation's-best winning streak to 20 games and tied the CAA record for consecutive conference wins with 15. JMU quarterback Bryan Schor completed 20-of-27 passes for 176 yards and 2 TD's and became the school's career leader in TD passes with 53. The Dukes' defense held UNH (5-3, 3-2) to 193 total yards. Wildcats' quarterback Trevor Knight threw for 136 yards.
No. 10 Elon (7-1, 5-0) picked up its fourth victory this season over a nationally ranked opponent, earning a 19-14 road win at No. 13 Villanova. Freshman quarterback Davis Cheek completed 24-of-35 passes for a career-high 357 yards and two touchdowns, while wide receiver Kortez Weeks made 11 receptions for a career-best 205 yards. For Villanova (4-4, 2-3), freshman quarterback Kyle McCloskey passed for 137 yards and 2 TD's in his first career start. Aaron Forbes caught 5 passes for 74 yards and a TD and ran for 40 yards.
Quarterback Joe Carbone connected with Ray Bolden on a pair of scoring passes as No. 22 Stony Brook (6-2, 5-1) claimed a 27-24 victory at Richmond. Carbone finished 19-of-29 passing for 161 yards and 2 TD's, while Bolden made a career-high 13 receptions for 118 yards and 2 TD's. The Spiders were led by senior quarterback Kyle Lauletta, who was 33-of-52 passing for 310 yards and 3 TD's and tied the UR record for TD passes in a season with 26. Tyler Wilkins made nine receptions for 112 yards.
Behind a defense that allowed just 125 total yards, including -7 on the ground, Rhode Island (2-6, 1-4) topped UAlbany, 31-14 on the road. Brandon Ginnetti recorded three of the Rams' seven sacks, which was the most by a URI player since 2001. Offensively, quarterback JaJuan Lawson passed for 123 yards and 2 TD's, while Harold Cooper ran for 77 yards and two scores. For UAlbany, Eli Mencer returned a fumble 69 yards for a touchdown and linebacker Nate Hatalsky registered 21 tackles.
Maine (4-3, 3-3) got a strong defensive performance to beat William & Mary, 23-6, for its third straight CAA win. The Black Bears held the Tribe to 199 total yards, including only 57 through the air. Offensively, Chris Ferguson threw for 192 yards and a TD while Josh Mack ran for 99 yards and a score on 24 carries. Brandon Briggs kicked three field goals for Maine. For the Tribe (2-6, 0-5), quarterback Tommy McKee came off the bench to run for a team-high 47 yards and throw for 43.
