CAA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL WEEKLY REPORT - NOVEMBER 13
RICHMOND, Va. (November 13, 2017) – Elon sophomore
Ra’Shika White was named the first Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week of the season while Northeastern University freshman
Stella Clark garnered CAA Rookie of the Week accolades.

Ra'Shika White had a career-high 29 points on 12-of-17 from the floor in just 23 minutes of action in Elon's 61-point victory over Winthrop on opening night. The sophomore, who went 5-of-5 from the free throw line, added eight rebounds to go with two assists and two blocks to lead Elon to the win in its only game of the week.

Freshman | Guard | Sea Girt, N.J./Manasquan, N.J.
Northeastern freshman Stella Clark scored 16 points during her collegiate debut against Boston University. Clark scored all 16 points in the second half, including 10 points during the fourth quarter and helped NU nearly overcome an 11-point deficit at the start of the fourth quarter. Clark went 5-of-10 from the field and 2-of-5 from three-point range and led the Huskies with five assists during 25 minutes of action.
#CAAHoops – The Week that Was
Charleston (1-1): The Cougars split games against Lipscomb and Furman. Senior
Tanisha Brown got off to a great start, averaging 19.5 points, 8.5 rebounds and 5.5 assists over the two games.
Delaware (0-1): The Blue Hens had their comeback fall just short as they dropped the season opener at Buffalo, 87-73, in Natasha Adair’s UD debut. Three different Blue Hens scored in double-figures, including junior
Nicole Enabosi, who led all scorers with 18 points and nine rebounds.
Drexel (0-1): The Dragons fell on the road to Penn State despite an impressive comeback effort in the fourth quarter. Sophomore
Aubree Brown had a career day with 16 points and six assists in the loss.
Elon (1-0): The defending CAA champion Phoenix opened the season with a 61-point win over Winthrop. Sophomore

Shay Burnett just missed a triple double, finishing with 17 points, nine rebounds and nine assists.
Hofstra (1-0): Stepping into a much larger role as the Pride's starting point guard,
E’Lexus Davis nearly posted a triple-double in Hofstra's 71-55 season-opening victory over UMBC. Davis recorded career highs in points (17), rebounds (8) and assists (9), playing 37 minutes. Senior
Ashunae Durant was named to the inaugural Katrina McClain Award preseason watch list, which recognizes the top power forward in women's basketball.
James Madison (1-1): The Dukes split games, falling to Rutgers in the opener before downing Wagner on Sunday.
Lexie Barrier averaged 14.0 points, 4.5 rebounds and 3.5 assists over the two games, including 23 points against the Scarlet Knights.
UNCW (1-0): Senior
Madison Raque posted the third 20-point game of her college career as the Seahawks opened the Karen Barefoot Era with a 73-64 victory over UNC Pembroke. Raque tallied 24 points on 8-of-14 shooting from the field, including a 5-for-10 showing from long range, while grabbing seven rebounds.
Northeastern (0-1): The Huskies made a furious fourth-quarter comeback but fell just short of the win, falling at Boston University, 74-73. Junior
Jess Genco led Northeastern with 18 points while rookie
Stella Clark had 16 points, all in the second half.
Towson (0-1): Sophomore
Nukiya Mayo dropped in a career-high 19 points but it was not enough as the Tigers fell at UMass in Diane Richardson’s coaching debut.
William & Mary (1-0): Junior
Bianca Boggs had a career-night as helped the Tribe to an 83-71 season opening victory at Howard. Boggs notched her second career-double with career-highs of 26 points and 11 rebounds to go along with four steals. Freshman Gabby Rogers had a solid start to her career with nine points and grabbed four rebounds in 19 minutes.
