The NCAA FCS playoffs resume on Saturday with second-round action. There are three CAA Football teams among the final 16, which is the second-most of any conference.
At 2 p.m. on ESPN3, conference foes James Madison (11-0) and Stony Brook (10-2) meet at Bridgeforth Stadium in Harrisonburg. The two teams finished first and second in the CAA Football standings, but didn't play each other in the regular season. The top-seeded Dukes, who are riding the nation's longest winning streak at 23 games, received a first-round bye. The Seawolves rolled past Patriot League champ Lehigh 59-29, last Saturday for their sixth consecutive victory.
At 3 p.m. on ESPN3, New Hamsphire (8-4) travels to Central Arkansas (10-1). The Wildcats, who are making their record 14th consecutive appearance in the FCS playoffs, posted a 14-0 shutout victory over Northeast Conference champ Central Connecticut State last Saturday. Fourth-seeded Central Arkansas has won 10 straight games since a season-opening setback at Kansas State and captured the Southland Conference title.
