Senior quarterback Bryan Schor threw four touchdown passes to lead top-ranked James Madison (9-0, 6-0) past Rhode Island, 38-3. The Dukes were up just 7-3 at the half, but their defense held the Rams (2-7, 1-5) to 18 yards over the final 30 minutes while the offense scored 31 unanswered points with Schor tossing three TD's. It was JMU's 16th consecutive conference win, breaking the league record set by UMass from 1965-67.
Joe Carbone connected with Harrison Jackson on a 13-yard TD pass in overtime as No. 14 Stony Brook (7-2, 6-1) edged UAlbany, 28-21, in overtime to reclaim the Golden Apple. Carbone passed for 218 yards and a pair of TD's as SBU won for the seventh time in eight games. The Great Danes (3-6, 1-5), who got two TD passes from Will Brunson, tied the contest at 21-21 on Karl Mofor's 3-yard scoring run with 1:34 to go. It was UAlbany's second overtime loss of the year.
Richmond's defense allowed just 163 total yards as the Spiders (5-4, 3-3) posted a 22-0 shutout victory at No. 20 Villanova. Linebacker Dale Matthews recorded a team-high nine tackles and one of the UR's four sacks. The Spiders were led offensively by Xavier Goodall, who rushed for a season-best 116 yards and a TD on 19 carries. The Wildcats (4-5, 2-4) got a team-high 54 yards rushing on 7 carries from Justin Covington, while Ed Shockley paced the VU defense with 13 tackles.
Trevor Knight completed 25-of-35 passes for 406 yards and four touchdowns as No. 21 New Hampshire (6-3, 4-2) picked up a 35-16 victory at William & Mary. Wide receiver Neil O'Connor made seven receptions for 192 yards and a TD as the Wildcats piled up 511 yards of total offense. The Tribe (2-7, 0-6) was led by quarterback Tommy McKee, who passed for 272 yards and rushed for a team-high 79 yards and 2 TD's on 13 carries.
Colby Reeder returned a fumbled punt five yards for a TD early in the fourth quarter to break open a tie game and Delaware (6-3, 4-2) went on to a 31-17 triumph at Maine. The Blue Hens' offense was led by Kani Kane with 99 yards and a TD on the ground and junior Joe Walker, who contributed 68 yards receiving, 55 yards rushing and 42 yards passing. Linebacker Troy Reeded had a game-high 17 tackles. For Maine (4-4, 3-4), Josh Mack ran for a game-high 173 yards on 23 carries and caught six passes for 38 yards.
Owen Johnson booted a 26-yard field goal in the second overtime to lift No. 7 Elon past Towson, 33-30. The Phoenix, who pushed their winning streak to eight, had a pair of backs rush for 100 yards as Brelynd Cyphers had 129 yards and a TD and DeSean McNair added 109 yards and a TD. The Tigers (3-6, 1-5) trailed 27-10 early in the fourth quarter, but Ryan Stover (303 yards) tossed a pair of touchdown passes and Aidan O'Neill kicked a game-tying field goal with 1:20 left.
