#CAALax/LSN Game of the Week Schedule Announced

RICHMOND, Va. (December 14, 2017) – The Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) has announced the schedule for the 2018 CAA Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Games of the Week on
Lax Sports Network.
The CAA Game of the Week package includes 11 men’s and five women’s regular-season lacrosse contests. In addition to the 16 regular season contests, the network will provide live coverage of both the CAA Men’s Lacrosse Championship and the CAA Women’s Lacrosse Championship.
The CAA Men’s Lacrosse Game of the Week schedule will feature four non-league games in addition to seven league games, with each team appearing three times. Action begins on February 24 with Towson hosting Georgetown. Other non-league contests include: Villanova at Delaware on March 3, North Carolina at Hofstra on March 10 and Penn State at Fairfield on March 17. Drexel and UMass kick off league play with a March 31 contest in Philadelphia.
The CAA Women’s Lacrosse Game of the Week begins on April 6 with Elon at Hofstra followed by Drexel at defending champion James Madison on April 8. The following week, Elon hosts Towson in a rematch of the 2017 CAA Championship semifinals in which the Phoenix upset the Tigers. Delaware and William & Mary square off on April 22 while Towson and James Madison conclude the regular season on April 28.
In addition to the Game of the Week telecasts, Lax Sports Network will produce live pregame, halftime and postgame shows surrounding each contest as well as other coverage throughout the season. The CAA and LSN recently extended their partnership through the 2020 season.
