CAA WOMEN'S BASKETBALL WEEKLY REPORT - DECEMBER 26
RICHMOND, Va. (December 26, 2017) – University of Delaware junior
Nicole Enabosi was named the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season while Elon University guard
Saadia Munford picked up CAA Rookie of the Week honors.

Junior Nicole Enabosi logged 23 points and a career-high 20 rebounds in Delaware’s win over Loyola. It was the most rebounds in the CAA this season and the most for a Blue Hen since 1989. It was just the fifth 20-20 game in school history and the first one in the CAA since the 2012-13 season. Enabosi went 9-for-13 from the floor and 5-for-5 from the free throw line. She also dished out three assists, with no turnovers, and blocked a shot in 34 minutes of action. Enabosi has posted a double-double in eight straight games, which is a school record, and has nine double-doubles in 11 games this season. This is the third CAA Player of the Week honor for Enabosi this season.

Rookie guard
Saadia Munford's six-point, 10-assist, three-steal night helped pace Elon's 78-50 victory over NC Central. In all, Munford scored or contributed on 28 of Elon's points in the game, assisting on 22 points and scoring six of them herself. The freshman's double-digit assist night set a new career high and was the sixth in the CAA this season. Munford, who has started all 11 games this season, is averaging 3.1 assists and 5.0 points per game for the Phoenix.
#CAAHoops – The Week that Was
Charleston (4-7): The Cougars split games last week, topping Wofford before falling to Wake Forest.
Tanisha Brown averaged 11.0 points over the two games while
Shiclasia Brown averaged 7.5 assists per game.
Delaware (7-4): The Blue Hens rolled over Loyola, 71-38, at the Bob Carpenter Center. Junior
Nicole Enabosi notched her eighth consecutive double-double, finishing with 23 points and 20 rebounds. It was just the fourth 20-20 game in program history and the first since the 1983-84 season; it was the first 20-20 game in the CAA since the 2012-13 season. Freshman
Justina Mascaro added a season-best 12 points.
Drexel (8-4): The Dragons never trailed and pulled away late in the 61-39 victory over Cornell.
Aubree Brown finished with a game-high 15 points, knocking down all four of her three-point attempts. She added four assists and three steals as Drexel came up with 11 steals as a team.
Elon (8-3): The Phoenix posted a 78-50 victory against North Carolina Central. Elon, which moved to 4-0 at home, had four players score in double figures, including
Ra’Shika White’s game-high 19 points. Rookie guard
Saadia Munford dished out a season-best 10 assists.
Hofstra (6-5): The Pride rallied from a nine-point deficit with 2:27 to play to defeat St. Bonaventure, 71-68. Senior
Ashunae Durant tallied 20 points to lead four Pride players in double-figures as Hofstra improved to 6-5 on the season with their fourth win in the last six contests.
James Madison (4-7): The Dukes led wire-to-wire with a 67-36 victory over Bryant. Sophomore
Kamiah Smalls led three Dukes in double figures with a career-high 23 points. Redshirt sophomore
Kayla Cooper-Williams posted her first double-double (10pts, 12reb) of the season. Rookie
Tori Harris chipped in with eight points, a season high, and four rebounds.
UNCW (7-4): Redshirt senior forward
Jenny DeGraaf scored a career-high 21 points and grabbed 10 rebounds to lead UNCW past Georgia State, 74-62, in a comeback victory. The Seahawks have won four of their last five games and are 6-0 at home this season.
Northeastern (5-6): The Huskies finished as the runners-up at the Beach Classic, topping New Mexico State before falling to Illinois State in the title game. Guard
Jess Genco averaged 13.0 points, 7.5 rebounds, and 6.5 assists during the two-day event to earn All-Tournament Team honors.
Towson (5-6): The Tigers split games at the Las Vegas Holiday Hoops Classic. Towson downed Arkansas-Pine Bluff before falling to Radford.
Mary Cuevas was named to the All-Tournament Team, averaging 16.5 points and 8.0 rebounds per game while shooting 62.5 percent (15-24) from the field.
William & Mary (9-2): William & Mary had its seven-game winning streak snapped with an 80-74 overtime loss to Norfolk State.
Bianca Boggs netted a team-high 22 points, going 8-for-9 from the floor.
