Bracket Set for 2022 CAA Field Hockey Championship presented by Primis

RICHMOND, Va. (Oct. 28, 2022) – The bracket is set for the 2022 CAA Field Hockey Championship presented by Primis. The conference tournament returns to Fred. P Rullo Stadium for the seventh consecutive season on November 4 through November 6, hosted by the University of Delaware.
Despite the field being set ahead of Friday evening’s two conference matchups, the outcomes of the regular season finales decided the seeding and matchups for the upcoming championship.
Monmouth earned the top seed after claiming a share of the CAA regular season title with a win in its conference finale. The host, Delaware, is seeded second, and Northeastern is seeded third. Drexel claimed the fourth and final seed to round out the field.
Top-seeded Monmouth will face fourth-seeded Drexel in the first semifinal match at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 4. The second semifinal will follow at 4 p.m., with second-seeded Delaware squaring off against third-seeded Northeastern.
The winners from each semifinal contest will advance to play in the 2022 CAA Field Hockey Championship game at 1 p.m. on Sunday, November 6.
