RICHMOND, Va. (Sept. 28, 2022) – Charleston junior Max Dupree, UNCW junior Walker Isley, and Elon senior Annabelle Ackroyd are the Colonial Athletic Association Golfers of the Week for their recent performances.
 
MEN’S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Max Dupree, Charleston
Junior | Greensboro, Ga. / Gatewood Schools
Dupree’s Charleston debut was a strong one, as the junior transfer shot 5-under to finish fourth at the Old Town Collegiate Invitational. The effort by Dupree in his first tournament as a Cougar was against a field featuring nine teams in the GolfStat top 100 and four Power 5 programs.
 
MEN’S CO-GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Walker Isley, UNCW
Junior | Oak Island, N.C. / South Brunswick
Isley won the J.T. Poston Invitational with a 4-under performance in the 54-hole tournament. The junior from North Carolina birdied four of his final seven holes to win the event by two strokes. Isley tied his career-low tournament score of 209 in second individual title as a Seahawk.
 
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Annabelle Ackroyd, Elon
Senior | Calgary, Alberta / William Aberhart
Ackroyd and Elon both finished second at the Boston College Invitational in Massachusetts with Ackroyd two shots back of medalist honors and the Phoenix two behind team champion and host Boston College. Ackroyd turned in a second-round 70 as part of a 3-over performance for the tournament and was one of four Elon players in the top 20.

Men’s Notes
Charleston was led by a fourth-place finish from Max Dupree in his first CofC tournament in Winston-Salem … Elon was fourth and UNCW was fifth at the JT Poston Invitational in North Carolina with the Seahawks’ Walker Isley winning the tournament at 4-under … Bronson Myers and Nick Doyle placed in the top 10 for the Phoenix … Hofstra was fifth at the Wildcat Fall Invitational, led by Dino Capazario … Monmouth defeated Wagner last Wednesday at a match play event in New Jersey … Towson tied for seventh at the USF-Howard Intercollegiate in Maryland.
 
Women’s Notes
Elon finished two shots behind host and team champion Boston College in Massachusetts, while Monmouth tied for fifth … Annabelle Ackroyd finished two shots back of the individual title … The Hawks were led by a top-20 from Ava Lozito … A split squad from Elon, along with host North Carolina A&T, competed in the five-team Aggie Invitational … Andrea Asmundsdottir was the Phoenix’s top finisher in a tie for seventh, while Tori Mouton led the Aggies in a tie for 14^th … UNCW placed eighth at Furman’s event, led by a top-20 result from Malu Brinker … Towson finished seventh at Grandover with Odette Font Garcia placing second ... Delaware will finish the final round of the Golfweek Red Sky Classic on Wednesday in Colorado.
