Garrett Risner are the CAA golf weekly award winners for tournaments ending October 17.
WOMEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Viktoria Hund, Charleston
Senior | Bremen, Germany / Ökumenisches Gymnasium
Hund finished third in Charleston’s tournament on Edisto Island and helped the Cougars to a team title. The senior from Germany and 2022 CAA Golfer of the Year went 69-72-68 (-1) to lead the way as Charleston finished four shots ahead of Georgia Southern in team competition.
MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Garrett Risner, Elon
Junior | Holly Springs, N.C. / Apex Friendship
Risner was under par in all three rounds to place third and lead Elon to a team title at the Phoenix Invitational. The junior from North Carolina went 70-65-69 (-9) at Alamance Country Club with a season-low performance in the second round.
