HEMPSTEAD, N.Y. (Nov. 10, 2023) – Top-seeded Hofstra and second-seeded Monmouth will meet Saturday night on Long Island with the CAA Men’s Soccer title and automatic qualifier to the NCAA Tournament on the line.

No. 17 Hofstra (12-3-4) is in the title game for the fourth-consecutive year and in search of its third-straight league title. The Pride – eighth in this week’s RPI – cruised to a 4-1 victory over Delaware in the Semifinal round and have played one of the nation’s most challenging schedules in 2023. Hofstra is aiming for its seventh CAA title.

Monmouth (8-3-6) has qualified for the final in just its second year in the CAA after finishing tied for ninth a year ago. The Hawks got past upset-minded Elon in penalty kicks on Sunday to move on to the championship game. Monmouth has played in seven NCAA Tournaments with the most recent coming in 2020-21.

Hofstra and Monmouth tied for the regular season title with the Pride earning the right to play under the lights in Hempstead Saturday night thanks to a head-to-head victory on the same field in early October.

The 7 p.m. game can be seen on FloFC.
