CAA Swimming Weekly Awards - Nov. 14

RICHMOND, Va. (November 14, 2023) – Monmouth graduate student Blake Reynolds earned CAA Men’s Swimmer of the Week honors and Hawks’ junior Jensen Ritter was selected as the CAA Women’s Swimmer of the Week after leading their teams to convincing victories over Manhattan last Friday.
CAA Men's Swimmer of the Week
Blake Reynolds, Gr., Monmouth (Grayson, Ga.)
Reynolds captured two individual events and was part of two winning relay teams as Monmouth defeated Manhattan, 157-72. The grad student claimed the 100 fly in a time of 58.09 and took the 50 fly in 26.96. Reynolds also contributed to wins in the 200 medley relay and 200 free relay. He has six wins this season and 38 for his career.
CAA Women’s Swimmer of the Week
Jensen Ritter, Jr., Monmouth (Frederick, Md.)
Ritter recorded victories in two individual events and a pair of relays to lead Monmouth past Manhattan, 160-79. The junior took the top spot in the 100 fly with a time of 58.09 and captured the 50 fly in a time of 26.96. Ritter added wins as a member of Monmouth’s 200 medley relay and 200 free relay squads. She has seven individual wins this season and 17 for her career.
