William & Mary's Stevenson Concludes Outstanding Season At NCAA Championship

RICHMOND, Va. (March 18, 2023) – William & Mary senior Katie Stevenson concluded an outstanding season with a strong performance at the NCAA Women’s Swimming and Diving Championship in Knoxville, Tenn.
Stevenson competed in three events over three days at the NCAA Championship. She set a new Tribe program record in the 200 free on Friday with a time of 1:45.73. She posted a time of 22.93 in the 50 free on Thursday and concluded the competition with a time of 49.10 in the 100 free.
Stevenson reached the podium in seven events at the CAA Championship. Along with claiming gold in the 100 free, she was part of the Tribe’s winning 200 medley relay team that set a new CAA and W&M record and the first-place 400 medley relay team that also set a new CAA mark.
Stevenson earned silver medals in the 200 free and the 400 free relay and took third place in the 50 free and 800 free relay.
