Five #CAALax Players Earn ILWomen Midseason All-America Honors

BALTIMORE (March 31, 2023) – Five CAA Women’s Lacrosse players – four from Stony Brook and one from Drexel – have been named Midseason All-America honorees by ILWomen.
 
Stony Brook midfielder Ellie Masera was named to the first team, while Drexel goalie Jenika Cuocco and the Stony Brook trio of Haley Dillon, Kailyn Hart, and Clare Levy collected honorable mention distinction.
 
Masera ranks second in the nation with 4.33 goals per game and eighth with 39 total goals, while placing 11th with 5.00 points per game. The junior from Long Island ranks second in the CAA with 5.33 draw controls per game.
 
Cuocco is third in the nation with a .536 save percentage and leads the CAA with an 8.72 goals-against average that is good for 11th nationally while helping Drexel to a 7-3 start.
 
Dillon, Hart, and Levy have contributed to a 7-2 record for No. 6 Stony Brook, which has been in the top 10 of the national polls in every week this season while collecting three ranked wins and continuing its run of success in league competition in its first year in the CAA.
