On the diamond, Hofstra (5-1) and Elon (7-2) look to continue their winning ways in CAA play against a pair of conference newcomers. The Pride has won its first two conference series this spring and will visit North Carolina A&T this weekend. The Phoenix is the only team in the league to win its first three league series and travels to Hampton. The Aggies and Lady Pirates are attempting to win their first CAA series in program history. Two other series feature first-ever CAA matchups, as Delaware (4-2) visits Monmouth (4-5) and Stony Brook (2-6) hosts UNCW (6-3). The Seawolves and Seahawks went unbeaten in league play last weekend and look to carry the momentum into their head-to-head matchup. The lone matchup of long-time conference rivals is Towson entertaining Drexel. The Tigers hold a 66-44-1 advantage all-time, but the Dragons have won the series in back-to-back seasons. |
