RICHMOND, Va. (April 12, 2023) – UNCW junior Walker Isley is the CAA Men’s Golfer of the Week for his recent performance.
 
MEN’S GOLFER OF THE WEEK
Walker Isley, UNCW
Junior | Oak Island, N.C. / South Brunswick
Isley tied his career-low 54-hole performance of 206 to tie for sixth at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial in Virginia. The junior from North Carolina was 10-under with a showing of 70-67-69 for his fifth top-10 performance of the year. Isley finished ahead of five nationally ranked golfers and four in the top 50.

Elon placed eighth at the Stitch Intercollegiate and was led by a top-20 result from Garrett Risner … William & Mary was seventh and Hofstra was 14^th at the Villanova Wildcat Spring Invitational; Matthew Feinstein finished in the top 10 and Dino Capazario led Hofstra … North Carolina A&T was eighth at the TSU Big Blue Invitational with a top 10 from Samuel Drew Walker … UNCW finished 12^th at the Lewis Chitengwa Memorial with a top-10 result from Walker Isley.
 
Women’s Notes
Monmouth placed second and Hofstra finished third at the Hartford Spring Invitational; Monmouth’s Paige Diecidue tied for third and Hofstra was led by Savannah Weyrauch in a tie for seventh.
