Fifteen Men’s #CAALax Student-Athletes Named USILA Scholar All-Americans

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (June 28, 2023) – Fifteen CAA Men’s Lacrosse student-athletes were named Scholar All-Americans by the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) on Wednesday afternoon. It marks the most Scholar All-Americans for the conference in a season in league history.
 
The 15 student-athletes represented five CAA programs led by Stony Brook with a league-best five honorees, including Christian Lowd, Dylan Pallonetti, Matt Anderson, Michael Sabella and Noah Armitage. The five Seawolves are also the most by a CAA team in a season in conference history.
 
Four Delaware Blue Hens – Kevin Lynch, Matt Kilkeary, Mike Robinson and Tye Kurtz – and Three Drexel Dragons – Jack Mulcahy, Pat Udovich and Ross Blumenthal – received accolades, along with Towson’s duo of Garrett Zungailia and Kyle Berkeley joined Hofstra’s Danny Ochs rounding out the conference representatives.
 
The USILA Scholar All-America program was established to recognize student-athletes from USILA member institutions who have distinguished themselves academically, athletically, and as citizens in their local communities. The USILA Selection Committee chooses three overall teams from Divisions I, III, and III.

A Scholar All-American must be nominated by his coach and must be a student with at least a senior year academic standing with a cumulative grade-point average of 3.0 or higher on a 4.0 scale.
