LONG BEACH, Calif. (Oct. 21, 2024) – Delaware forward Marius Stenner, Hofstra forward Lennon Gill, William & Mary forward Tre Barrett, and Drexel defender Gavin Carmichael have been named to Top Drawer Soccer’s Midseason Top 100 Freshmen for the 2024 season.

Stenner ranked the highest of any CAA student-athlete on both the midseason Top 100 and Freshmen Top 100, placing No.14. Named CAA Co-Offensive Player of the Week on Aug. 26 and earning two CAA Rookie of the Week selections, Stenner leads the front line for Delaware recording nine goals and five assists in his first 14 games. The Danish forward’s nine tallies are good for first in the conference, including five game-winners, which also ranks him first in the CAA.

Gill is No. 33 on the national list after tallying four goals and one assist in his first season in Hempstead. Earning CAA Offensive Player of the Week on Sept. 30, the Irishman’s most notable performance came that week against then No.14 Elon when he scored two goals in a 2-1 win.

Tre Barrett has been in fine form for William & Mary all season, earning him No. 66 on the Top Drawer Soccer Midseason Top 100 Freshman list. With three goals and five assists, Barrett leads the Tribe in points (11) and assists. The Virginian netted his first career brace on Sept. 28 in a 4-0 conference victory over UNCW.

Gavin Carmichael rounds out the CAA’s presence on the national list ranking No. 77. The Drexel defender has started nine of his first 11 games, tallying two goals across 814 minutes of action. Carmichael helped anchor a backline that held its opponents scoreless for three straight games from Sept. 10 through Sept. 17 and has contributed to four shutouts this season.

Two more weeks remain in the regular season before the postseason begins on Nov. 7, where six teams will battle it out for the CAA Championship.
