Luc Lavielle are the CAA men’s soccer weekly award winners for the week ending October 6.
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dominick Bachstein, Drexel
Graduate Student | Forward | Malvern, Pa. / Conestoga
Accruing 10 points across Drexel’s two games, Bachstein doubled his season total, moving his tally to a team and conference-leading 20 points. The graduate student forward opened the week in fine form, netting one goal and two assists in the Dragons’ 5-0 victory at UMBC. Drexel welcomed No. 14 Hofstra on Saturday, and Bachstein led the front line, contributing to four of Drexel’s five goals, netting two and assisting two as well.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Owen Mikoy, Campbell
Redshirt Senior| Defender | Atlanta, Ga. / Fayette County
Mikoy anchored a backline that allowed one goal across two games. Campbell opened their week with a matchup against Longwood, where Mikoy held strong defensively playing a part in the Lancers getting four shots off on target. The Camels' next matchup saw it play CAA opponent Stony Brook, with the redshirt senior performing on both ends of the field. Mikoy played 90 minutes and helped Campbell earn its sixth shutout of the season, while also tacking on a goal to mark his first of the year.
ROOKIE OF THE WEEK
Luc Lavielle, Campbell

Lavielle had his hand in both of Campbell’s victories, notching two goals and one assist. The North Carolina native opened his week against Longwood in fine form, firing home the Camels’ equalizer in the 13th minute, before recording an assist on the game-winner early in the second half. Lavielle continued his hot stretch of form netting Campbell’s second goal in its 6-0 victory over Stony Brook.
