2024 CAA Field Hockey Championship Bracket Solidified

RICHMOND, Va. (Nov. 1, 2024) – With the conference portion of the regular season complete, the bracket for the 2024 CAA Field Hockey Championship is set, as Monmouth won on the final day of league play to join Drexel, Northeastern, and Delaware in the four-team field. The conference tournament will be held at Buckley Field on the campus of Drexel University on November 8 and 10.
No. 19 Drexel’s win over Delaware completed a perfect regular season for the Dragons and an outright CAA Regular Season Championship. With spots already clinched for Northeastern and Delaware, Monmouth needed a win on Friday to stay alive and claim its place in the CAA Championship. The Hawks earned their trip in emphatic fashion, defeating William & Mary 10-1 and tallying their most goals in a game since 2018.
Drexel is the No. 1 seed in the Championship and will face No. 4 Monmouth on Friday, Nov. 8, at 12 p.m. from its home field. Northeastern earned the No. 2 seed and will take on No. 3 Delaware at 3 p.m. in Philadelphia. The winners of Friday’s games will compete for the CAA title and automatic qualifier to the NCAA Field Hockey Championship on Sunday, Nov. 10, at 12 p.m.
