Five CAA Football Teams Ranked In Final Regular Season Top 25 Polls

RICHMOND, Va. (November 25, 2024) – Five CAA Football teams are ranked in the final regular season FCS Top 25 polls released by Stats Perform and the AFCA on Monday.
 
Richmond (10-2) remained at #7 in the AFCA poll and moved up to #9 in the Stats poll after blanking William & Mary, 27-0, for its 10th consecutive win. The Spiders will host Lehigh on Saturday in the first round of the FCS playoffs.
 
Villanova (9-3) jumped to #11 in the AFCA rankings and #12 in the Stats rankings following a 38-28 victory over Delaware. The Wildcats welcome Eastern Kentucky for the first round of the FCS playoffs on Saturday.
 
Rhode Island (10-2) climbed to #10 in the Stats poll and #12 in the AFCA poll after defeating Bryant, 35-21, last week. The Rams entertain Central Connecticut State on Saturday in the first round of the FCS playoffs.
 
New Hampshire (8-4) rose to #19 in the Stats poll and moved into the AFCA poll at #24 after its 27-9 win at Maine. The Wildcats are at home against UT Martin in the first round of the FCS playoffs on Saturday.
 
Stony Brook (8-4) fell to #24 in the Stats rankings and received votes in the AFCA rankings after a 55-47 setback to Monmouth last week.
