Hofstra Takes Home Conference-High Five Honors from United Soccer Coaches All-Region Selections

KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Dec. 11, 2024) – Nine CAA men’s soccer student-athletes were named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Atlantic Region Team, while Hofstra repeated as Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year.
Three institutions were represented on the All-Atlantic Region teams, with Hofstra having a conference-high five selections. Charleston had three honorees, and Elon had one.

Jacob Woznicki all made the list for the Pride.
Noah Gold and CAA Co-Midfielder of the Year
Leonardo D’Ambrosio were Charleston’s representatives, while CAA Player of the Year
Scott Vatne was named for Elon.
Three honorees were placed on the Second Team from the All-Atlantic Region, with Charleston’s
Ezra White, being joined by Hofstra’s
Teddy Baker and
Laurie Goddard.

Dennis Mejia picked up Atlantic Region Coaching Staff of the Year, marking the second year in a row the Pride has earned the honor. Hofstra was 14-5-2 in 2024, winning the Coastal Athletic Association for the fourth consecutive season, and securing the second (and highest) national seed (7) in program history.
