North Carolina A&T, Hampton In National Spotlight For Saturday's CBS Sports Classic: HBCU Showcase

North Carolina A&T and Hampton will receive national television exposure on Saturday as they host games against long-time rivals as part of the CBS Sports Classic: HBCU Showcase. The Aggies face North Carolina Central at 2 p.m., while the Pirates meet Howard at 4 p.m. in contests that will air on CBS and Paramount+.
North Carolina A&T (3-10) features two of the CAA’s top scorers in Landon Glasper (18.8 ppg) and Ryan Forrest (18.1 ppg), while Jahnathan Lamothe adds 11.5 ppg. The trio has combined to hit 77 three-pointers. North Carolina Central has a pair of double-digit scorers in Po’Boigh King (15.9 ppg) and Keishon Porter (11.7 ppg).
Hampton (7-5) enters Saturday’s contest on a season-best four-game winning streak. The Pirates are topped in scoring by Noah Farrakhan (13.3 ppg) and George Beale, Jr. (12.1). However, depth has been key for the Pirates as they rank third nationally in bench scoring at 40.4 ppg. Howard, which has won two of its last three, is led by Marcus Dockery (16.6 ppg) and Blake Harper (16.1 ppg).
