RICHMOND, Va. (Feb. 29, 2024) – The calendar turns from February to March with two CAA Championships to be crowned in the pool, quality competition on the field, and high-profile challenges in golf and tennis.
 
Swimming & Diving
The CAA Swimming & Diving Championships continue through Saturday at the Hampton Aquaplex in Hampton, Va. Fans can watch all of the action on FloSwimming. For more information, head to Championship Central.
 
Baseball | Schedule
A busy weekend of CAA baseball gets started on Thursday afternoon when unbeaten Charleston (7-0) hosts Big 12 foe Nebraska in a four-game series at Patriots Point. Seven teams hit the road, including Towson at No. 14 NC State, Stony Brook at Virginia Tech, Hofstra at New Mexico, UNCW at South Alabama, Northeastern at Mercer and No. 21 Campbell at Georgia Southern. William & Mary, which has won seven in a row, entertains ACC foe Boston College on Saturday, while Elon visits No. 1 Wake Forest on Sunday.
 
Softball | Schedule
The final weekend before conference play in CAA Softball wraps up with 55 games on the docket. Delaware, Elon, Hampton and Towson will be at home, streaming games on FloSoftball, while Campbell, Hofstra and UNCW will be on the road with games to circle. The Pride heads to Austin, where the defending CAA Champions will face Penn State and No. 2 Texas. The Seahawks will play two NCAA Tournament teams from last season at the Queen City Classic, facing Minnesota and Charlotte. Finally, the Camels go head-to-head with two Power Five opponents at the Mizuno Invitational, squaring off against North Carolina and Rutgers.
 
Women’s Lacrosse | Schedule
Seven CAA teams are in action this weekend with Drexel and Elon having the weekend off; the Dragons knocked off No. 25 Penn State at Vidas Field Wednesday. The highlight of the weekend slate comes Friday night when Towson hosts No. 16 USC (6 p.m., FloLive), while Campbell plays twice, No. 12 Stony Brook opens the Saturday schedule with an early start against Villanova (10 a.m., FloLive), and Monmouth hosts Quinnipiac (2:30 p.m., FloLive) in the 30th meeting between the schools but first as non-conference opponents.
 
Men’s Lacrosse | Schedule
A big weekend in men’s lacrosse features all eight conference teams playing on Saturday. League play opens with Stony Brook hosting Hampton at 1 p.m. on FloLive, while two CAA teams face nationally ranked adversaries. No. 18 Delaware looks to rebound from its first setback this spring, entertaining No. 11 Michigan at noon, which will be the CAA Game of the Week on Lacrosse TV, and Hofstra travels to No. 16 Rutgers at 1 p.m. on B1G+. The weekend slate has four games on FloLive, with Hofstra the only team on the road in non-conference action.
 
Tennis | Schedule
Several key conference matchups highlight the weekend schedule in tennis. On the men’s side, UNCW hosts in-state foe Campbell on Saturday, while No. 65 William & Mary travels to #21 Princeton on Saturday before facing Monmouth on Sunday. In women’s action, Delaware welcomes Monmouth on Sunday.
 
Golf | Schedule
In women’s action, Campbell and Charleston will play in Florida’s event, UNCW will host Elon and Towson in the River Landing Classic.
 
Charleston is the lone men’s team in action this weekend, as the Cougars head to Pinehurst for an event hosted by Wake Forest.
