Katie Roszko are the winners of the CAA Women’s Lacrosse Weekly Awards presented by Primis for the week ending March 24.
PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kerry Walser, Hofstra
Senior | Midfield | Bay Shore, N.Y. / Bay Shore
Walser had the best week of her Hofstra career to help the Pride to its best league start in nearly a decade. The senior from Long Island tallied 12 goals and three assists in Hofstra’s 2-0 week while adding 11 draw controls in victories over William & Mary and Elon. Walser notched five goals on Friday and surpassed that career-high total with seven on Sunday. Hofstra is 3-0 in CAA play for the first time since 2015.
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Jenika Cuocco, Drexel
Redshirt Sophomore | Goalkeeper | Sound Beach, N.Y. / Rocky Point
Cuocco is CAA Defensive Player of the Week for the third time in four weeks after posting an identical stat line to her previous award-winning performance. The goalie from Long Island tallied 13 saves and allowed just five goals for the second-straight game to open CAA play, this time on Friday in a 13-5 win over Campbell.

Roszko’s eight-point weekend led the Tigers to a pair of important CAA wins to get to 2-1 in league play, The freshman from Maryland had three goals, two assists, three draws, and three ground balls in Friday’s win at Monmouth and recorded three assists, two ground balls, and a draw in Sunday’s victory at Delaware.
