Drexel's Gravereaux, Northeastern's Murphy Headline CAA Women's Swimming & Diving Award Winners

Chelsea Gravereaux was honored as the 2024 CAA Women's Swimmer of the Year, while Northeastern junior
Erin Murphy repeated as the CAA Women's Diver of the Year in a vote by the league's head coaches.
Joining Gravereaux and Murphy as major award winners in women's swimming and diving were Towson freshman
Addie Scott as Rookie Swimmer of the Year and Delaware freshman
Keira Allison as Rookie Diver of the Year. UNCW's
Bobby Guntoro was selected as the CAA Women's Swimming Coach of the Year and Northeastern’s
Lauren Colby was chosen as the Women’s Diving Coach of the Year.
Gravereaux led all swimmers at the CAA Championship with three individual victories. The grad student captured the 50 free with a time of 22.29, claimed gold in the 100 free with a time of 48.52 and won the 200 free in a time of 1:47.22. She added a bronze medal as a member of the Dragons’ 200 free relay team and was recognized as the Outstanding Swimmer of the Meet. During the regular season, Gravereaux recorded 10 individual wins across the three freestyle events. She is Drexel’s first CAA Swimmer of the Year since 2017.
Murphy was selected as the Diver of the Year for the second consecutive year after sweeping both boards at the CAA Championship. The junior took the top spot in the 1-meter competition with a score of 285.30 and was the conference champion in the 3-meter competition with a score of 306.55. Those performances earned her Outstanding Diver of the Meet accolades. Murphy competed at the NCAA Zones, where she advanced to the finals on the 1-meter board and finished 16
th overall.
Scott reached the podium twice during her first appearance at the CAA Championship. The freshman finished third in the 500 free with a time of 4:51.62. She also claimed bronze in the 200 free with a time of 1:48.21. Scott added a sixth-place performance in the 100 free (50.57) after posting a time of 50.52 in the prelims. She is Towson’s first Rookie Swimmer of the Year since 2013.
Allison was the only freshman to advance to the finals on boards at the CAA Championship. She recorded a fifth-place finish in the 1-meter competition with a score of 250.85 and posted an eighth-place effort in the 3-meter competition with a score of 229.55. Allison is Delaware’s second Rookie Diver of the Year in the past four seasons.
Guntoro received CAA Women’s Swimming Coach of the Year honors for the second straight season after guiding UNCW to back-to-back conference titles for the first time since 1999. The Seahawks accumulated 1,409 points in the competition.
Colby was chosen as the CAA Diving Coach of the Year for the second consecutive season. Along with the first-place performances by Murphy, the Huskies had two other divers advance to the finals in both the 1 and 3-meter competitions.
In addition to the 2024 major award winners in women's swimming and diving, the following individuals and relay teams received All-CAA accolades based on their performances at the CAA Championship.
