PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Masera earns Player of the Week honors for a league-high fourth time in 2024 after helping No. 13 Stony Brook improve to 14-2 and an undefeated CAA regular season. The senior from Long Island tallied five goals, two assists, and nine draw controls in Stony Brook’s 18-5 win over Hofstra to extend the Seawolves’ winning streak to nine entering Thursday’s regular-season finale vs. Stanford. Masera leads the nation with 6.29 points per game, is second in goals per game (4.36), and ranks ninth in draws per game (8.36).
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK

Hines is Defensive Player of the Week for the third straight week after anchoring a Stony Brook defense that held the CAA’s No. 2 offense to less than half its season scoring average. The junior from Maryland notched five caused turnovers and two ground balls in Saturday’s 18-5 win over Hofstra; the Pride entered the day undefeated in league play and averaging 13.4 goals per game, which ranked in the top 35 nationally. Hines is fifth in the nation in caused turnovers per game (2.81).

Aaron’s career day led the Towson defense and kept the Tigers in a tie for the fourth and final CAA Championship spot entering the season’s final weekend. The freshman from Pennsylvania tallied a career-high five caused turnovers and added three ground balls as Towson defeated Campbell, 17-10. The Tigers would clinch a spot in the CAA Semifinals with a win over Elon this upcoming Saturday.

Freshman | Attack | Chadds Ford, Pa. / Garnet Valley
Zebley totaled a career-high four goals and added an assist in Elon’s pivotal 16-15 win over Delaware on Saturday. The freshman from Pennsylvania helped the Phoenix remain in a tie for fourth place in the CAA standings entering a win-and-in showdown with Elon this upcoming Saturday.
