Pairings Set For 2024 CAA Women's Tennis Championship

CAA WOMEN'S TENNIS CHAMPIONSHIP BRACKET
RICHMOND, Va. (April 22, 2024) – The pairings are set for the 2024 CAA Women’s Tennis Championship, which will be played April 25-28 at the Jimmy Powell Tennis Center on the campus of Elon University.
The championship field was reduced to 12 teams after North Carolina A&T informed the conference that it was unable to participate due to injuries to several players on its roster.
Competition begins on Thursday with four first-round matches. At 10 a.m., #8 Hampton (13-8) meets #9 Hofstra (8-10) and #5 Elon (13-9) takes on #12 Monmouth (3-14). At 2 p.m., #7 Campbell (11-8) goes against #10 Towson (6-10) and #6 UNCW (10-7) faces #11 Stony Brook (3-13).
There are four quarterfinal contests on Friday. At 10 a.m., top-seeded Delaware (18-6) meets the Hampton/Hofstra winner and #4 Drexel (11-7) takes on the Elon/Monmouth winner. At 2 p.m. #2 William & Mary (15-5) challenges the Campbell/Towson winner and #3 Charleston (17-4) faces the UNCW/Stony Brook winner.
The winners advance to Saturday’s semifinals, which will be held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. The championship match will be played at 2 p.m. on Sunday, with an automatic berth to the NCAA Women’s Tennis Championship on the line.
Admission is free to all matches at the CAA Women’s Tennis Championship.
