No. 14 Stony Brook (15-2, 8-0 CAA) will be the top seed on its home turf after a second straight undefeated regular season since joining the CAA. Stony Brook has won 10 straight games entering the CAA Championship and holds ranked victories over No. 3 Syracuse, No. 19 Stanford, and No. 25 Rutgers. Tewaaraton nominee and CAA Midfielder of the Year Ellie Masera ranks second in the nation with 6.20 points/game, sixth with 4.20 goals/game, and ninth with 8.33 draws/game.

Elon (9-7, 5-3 CAA) is the No. 4 seed. Elon defeated Towson, 12-11, on Saturday at Towson on Sammy Fisher’s overtime winner to secure the last spot in the tournament. The Phoenix has defeated four straight opponents on its way to its first CAA Championship appearance since 2021; MJ Santa Barbara was named the league’s Rookie of the Year on Wednesday and is eighth in the nation with 9.06 draws/game.

Stony Brook defeated Elon, 18-6, on March 22 with six points from Kailyn Hart and five points and eight draws from Masera; the Seawolves are 2-0 in the all-time series.

Drexel (12-4, 7-1 CAA) is the No. 2 seed after an impressive regular season that has seen the Dragons just outside the national rankings for much of the year. Drexel claims two ranked wins of its own with victories over No. 15 Penn State and No. 20 Navy. Jenika Cuocco is second in the nation with a .573 save percentage, is the CAA’s Goalkeeper of the Year for the second consecutive year, and was a Tewaaraton watch list honoree. The Dragons are playing in their fourth consecutive CAA Championship and have earned an NCAA Tournament berth in each of the last three years.

Hofstra (9-7, 6-2 CAA) is the No. 3 seed in the Championship. Hofstra is 8-3 in its last 11 games entering the CAA Championship behind an offensive attack that features four players with 29+ goals and Melissa Sconone second in the CAA in assists. The Pride returns to the CAA Championship after a one-year absence, having played in three straight tournaments from 2019-22, and aims for its first CAA title since 2007.

Hofstra is 28-14 all-time against Drexel in the series between conference foes in multiple leagues; the Dragons took the regular season meeting, 11-10, in Hempstead last Saturday with 15 saves from Cuocco.
