Towson's Weisshaar Headlines Group Of Four CAA Players On USILA Men's Lacrosse All-America Team

RICHMOND, Va. (May 23, 2024) – Towson sophomore midfielder Mikey Weisshaar headlined a group of four CAA players who were selected to the USILA Division I Men’s Lacrosse All-America team.

Weisshaar earned second-team All-America accolades from the USILA. Receiving honorable mention on the All-America team were Towson grad attack Nick DeMaio, Towson senior defense Colby Barsz and Delaware senior goalkeeper Kevin Ellington.

Weisshaar tallied a team-high 42 goals and added 19 assists for the Tigers. Barsz was Towson’s team leader with 22 caused turnovers and picked up 28 ground balls. DeMaio compiled a team-best 82 points for the Tigers on 32 goals and 50 assists. Ellington ranked second nationally with a .590 save percentage, while also leading the league with 13.36 saves per game and ranking second with a 9.60 goals-against average.
