Four CAA Women's Track & Field Athletes Advance At NCAA East Regionals

LEXINGTON, Ky. (May 23, 2024) – Four CAA women’s track and field athletes advanced to the final round of competition at the NCAA East Region Preliminaries on Thursday.
Highlighting the day was two CAA athletes advancing in the 400 meter hurdles, as
Chastity Pickett of Campbell recorded the second-fastest time in the event at 53.24 and
Yasmeen Tinsley of Monmouth finishing 11
th with a personal best time of 57.05
North Carolina A&T’s
Lucheyona Weaver turned in an impressive fifth-place finish in the 100-meter hurdles with a personal best time of 12.94.
Campbell’s
Jaidyn Ramsey advanced in the 100 meters with a time of 11.44.
