Delaware, Charleston’s Hund Conclude 2023-24 Season at NCAA Regionals

BERMUDA RUN, N.C./AUBURN, Ala. (May 8, 2024) – The Delaware women’s golf team and Charleston’s
Viktoria Hund concluded their 2023-24 seasons in NCAA Regional play on Wednesday.
Delaware placed 12
th at the Bermuda Run Regional in North Carolina with
Christina Carroll leading the way at 7-over for the tournament to tie for 37
th. Carroll carded a 73 in Wednesday’s final round. The Blue Hens were playing in a Regional for the first time since 2017.
Down in Auburn, Hund placed 23
rd as an individual, finishing the week with a 4-over 76 after a 75 on each of the first two days of the tournament. Hund was playing in an NCAA Regional for the fourth consecutive year.
Delaware won the CAA title in April at St. James, holding off Charleston and UNCW in the first CAA Championship ever to conclude with the top three teams separated by five shots or less. Hund played to an individual playoff in the CAA Championship and earned an at-large to regional play.
