Championship Central

Baseball | Schedule
With two weekends of conference play remaining and four spots in the CAA Baseball Championship still up for grabs, there are several big series on tap starting Friday. Highlighting the slate is a clash between two teams that are not only in the hunt for a CAA title but also at-large berths to the NCAA Tournament as Charleston (34-11, 16-4 CAA) hosts Northeastern (33-13, 14-7 CAA). Fourth-place Delaware (25-21, 12-9 CAA) and fifth-place Stony Brook (23-23, 11-10 CAA) face off on Long Island with both squads looking to secure a spot in the CAA Tournament. First-place UNCW (33-16, 17-4 CAA) welcomes a Hofstra team (20-28, 10-11 CAA) that has captured three straight series. Rounding out slate, Towson (13-36, 3-17 CAA) travels to William & Mary (27-21, 10-11 CAA), Monmouth (16-25, 9-12 CAA) is home against Campbell (27-20, 8-13 CAA) and Elon (19-28, 8-13) makes the short trip to North Carolina A&T (23-25, 7-14 CAA).
Rowing | Schedule
All eyes are on the Cooper River a week before the CAA Championship as the Dad Vail Regatta sends Delaware, Drexel, and Monmouth into the water in Pennsauken.
Women’s Lacrosse
The CAA’s two women’s lacrosse teams in the NCAA Tournament begin play Friday. No. 14 Stony Brook is in Syracuse to face Niagara at 2 p.m., while No. 22 Drexel faces No. 18 Princeton outside Boston at 4 p.m. Both games can be seen on ESPN+.
Men’s Lacrosse
No. 12 Towson returns to NCAA Tournament play on Sunday night when the Tigers visit the dome for a clash with No. 4 Syracuse. The 7:30 p.m. game will be televised on ESPNU.
Golf
NCAA Men’s Golf Regionals begin Monday with CAA Champions Charleston in West Lafayette, Indiana, to play a regional hosted by Purdue. Closer to home, Campbell’s
Erik Johansson and UNCW’s
Walker Isley will play as individuals in Chapel Hill.
On the women’s side, UNCW will play in the National Golf Invitational in Maricopa, Arizona. The 54-hole event begins Friday.
