Biron Named Honorable Mention All-American After 17th Place Finish In Heptathlon

EUGENE, Ore. (June 8, 2024) – Northeastern senior Dominique Biron earned honorable mention All-America honors as she concluded her two days competing in the heptathlon at the NCAA Track and Field Championship on Saturday at Historic Hayward Field.

Biron finished in 17th place overall with 5,622 points, just shy of her lifetime best of 5,699 points set on April 12. Her final event of the day proved to be her best as she placed third in the 800 meters with a time of 2:13.96. She was 10th in the 200 meters with a time of 24.67.

Biron was the first Northeastern athlete to compete at the NCAA Track & Field Championship since 2007 and was the lone women’s competitor from the CAA.
