CAA Announces Dates And Sites For 2024-25 Championships

2024-25 CAA CHAMPIONSHIPS SCHEDULE
RICHMOND, Va. (July 10, 2024) – The CAA has announced its championship dates and sites for the 2024-25 season.
The conference will conduct championships in 23 sports, with 14 titles decided on campus and nine at neutral locations.
The first trophies will be handed out on Friday, November 1 at the CAA Men’s and Women’s Cross Country Championships, with Elon University serving as the host for the first time since 2017.
The six-team CAA Women’s Soccer Championship gets underway on Thursday, October 31 with first-round action at the top two seeds followed by semifinal contests on Sunday, November 3. The championship match will be played at the field of the highest remaining seed on Saturday, November 9.
The CAA Field Hockey Championship will be held at Monmouth University for the first time with semifinal games on Friday, November 8 and the title decided on Sunday, November 10.
The CAA Men’s Soccer Championship kicks off with first-round matches at the top two seeds on Thursday, November 7 followed by semifinal action on Sunday, November 10. The six-team tournament concludes at the site of the highest remaining seed on Saturday, November 16.
Towson University serves as host of the CAA Volleyball Championship for the fifth consecutive year. The six-team tournament opens on Thursday, November 21 and concludes on Saturday, November 23.
The CAA Men’s and Women’s Indoor Track & Field Championships return to the Virginia Beach Sports Center on February 26-27. The venue will also be the site of the NCAA Indoor Track & Field Championship in March.
For the third straight year, the CAA Men’s and Women’s Swimming & Diving Championships will be held at the Hampton Aquaplex. The four-day event opens on February 26 and concludes on March 1.
The Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C. will be the home for 10 straight days of exciting basketball action. The CAA Men’s Basketball Championship takes place from Friday, March 7 to Tuesday, March 11, followed by the CAA Women’s Basketball Championship from Wednesday, March 12 to Sunday, March 16.
Golf features one familiar venue and one new layout. For the 11
th time, the Reserve Club at St. James in Southport, N.C. will be the site of the CAA Women’s Golf Championship from April 11-13. The Union League National Golf Club in Swainton, N.J. will host the CAA Men’s Golf Championship for the first time from April 20-22.
Four teams will battle for titles as the CAA Men’s and Women’s Lacrosse Championships are played at the site of the respective top seeds. Semifinal action of both tournaments will take place on Thursday, May 1 followed by the championship games on Saturday, May 3.
Six teams head to Campbell University for the CAA Softball Championship. The double-elimination tournament begins on Wednesday, May 7 and concludes on Saturday, May 10.
North Carolina A&T serves as host for the CAA Men’s and Women’s Outdoor Track & Field Championships for the first time on May 14-15. Nine men’s teams and 13 women’s teams will be in action.
The CAA Rowing Championship returns to the Cooper River in Pennsauken, N.J. with eight teams competing for the title on May 16-17.
The final trophy will be handed out at the CAA Baseball Championship, which will be hosted by Charleston at the Ballpark at Patriots Point. The six-team double-elimination tournament is set for May 21-24.
Still to be determined are the dates and sites for the CAA Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships. That information will be announced in the near future.
