Fourth Season of Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse Begins Thursday with CAA Well-Represented

SPARKS, Md. (July 17, 2024) – Nine players with CAA Women’s Lacrosse ties will take the field at USA Lacrosse Headquarters in Maryland on Thursday for the opening night of the 2024 Athletes Unlimited Lacrosse season.
 
The fourth year of the women’s professional league will feature two recent CAA graduates, three conference coaches – including two head coaches, an alum of a league member from before its days in the CAA, and three players who competed in the conference for a former league member.
 
Stony Brook alumnae and 2024 CAA Champions Kailyn Hart and Ellie Masera will play their first season in the league this summer; Drexel head coach Katie O’Donnell and Towson head coach Kristen Carr return to the field along with Drexel assistant Katrina Geiger; Stony Brook alum Ally Kennedy will play in the league again this summer; Kat Buchanan, Isabella Peterson, and Haley Warden – who played for James Madison in its days in the CAA – will be in action as well.
 
The 2024 Athletes Unlimited season begins Thursday with a doubleheader on ESPNU. Stony Brook alumna and CAA Women’s Lacrosse on LacrosseTV analyst Kylie Ohlmiller will serve as the broadcasts’ sideline reporter.
