KANSAS CITY, Mo. (Aug. 6, 2024) – Coming off a 14-3-5 record, an NCAA Third Round appearance, a third consecutive CAA Championship, and a final No. 17 ranking in 2023, the Hofstra University men's soccer team enters the 2024 season ranked No. 17 in the United Soccer Coaches Preseason Poll, which was released Tuesday. The preseason ranking is the Pride's second in program history and matches the No. 17 they received prior to the 2022 season.

Hofstra, which returns 12 players from the 2023 team, will begin its quest for a fourth consecutive CAA title on August 22 at home against Fordham.

Defending National Champion Clemson is ranked first in the preseason poll followed by Notre Dame. West Virginia, Oregon State, and Stanford round out the preseason top five.
