WOMEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Lucheyona Weaver, N.C. A&T
Senior | Hurdler | Fort Myers, Fla. / Dunbar
Weaver competed in the Gamecock Opener on Saturday, winning the 60-meter hurdles in her season debut. The senior posted a time of 8.20 that not only ranks first in the conference but puts her fifth in the nation among Division I athletes.

Julieth Nwosu, N.C. A&T
Graduate Student | Thrower | Brockton, Mass/ Franklin Pierce
Nwosu won the shot put event at the Gamecock Opener with a throw of 15.85m (52 feet 4 inches). The distance ranks first in the conference and 20
th in the nation, marking her fourth indoor shot put career win in style.
MEN’S TRACK ATHLETE OF THE WEEK
Jason Holmes, North Carolina A&T
Junior | Sprints/Hurdles | Baltimore, MD / Calvert Hall College High School
Holmes won the 200-meter and 60-meter hurdle event at the Gamecock Opener. With a time of 21.01 in the 200-meter, the junior was just shy of his career-best time that currently places him second in the nation. Holmes ran a 7.64 pace in the hurdles, matching his personal-best and ranking him first in the conference and NCAA Division I.

Dalton Yeust, Monmouth
Redshirt Senior | Pole Vault | Tunkhannock, PA / Tunkhannock Area
Collecting his second-consecutive weekly award, Yeust improved on his CAA-leading pole vault mark at the Penn Select. The Pennsylvania native cleared 5.00m (16 feet 4 3/4 inches) on his first attempt, finishing as the runner-up in the event.
