Campbell 69, Hofstra 67

Colby Duggan (23 pts.) drained a game-winning fadeaway to erase an 18-point deficit in Campbell’s 69-67 overtime win over Hofstra on CBS Sports Network. Jasin Sinani knocked down a game-tying triple to force the extra period before finishing with 17 points and 11 boards. Nolan Dorsey also eclipsed the 20-point threshold with 22 points and six treys.
 
Hofstra (10-11, 3-5 CAA) saw its lead grow to as many as 18 before taking a 36-20 lead into the break. Khalil Farmer led the Pride with nine points on a 3-for-3 clip from behind the arc. Campbell’s Duggan scored the first seven points of the second half to bring the Camels’ deficit to single digits, 36-27, just two minutes into the frame. After Hofstra’s Jean Aranguren knocked down a triple to reclaim a 10-point edge, Campbell’s Dorsey drained three consecutive triples before Duggan rattled off eight straight points to bring the Camels (10-11, 5-3 CAA) within one, 56-55, with 2:18 remaining. The Pride regained a four-point lead on a German Plotnikov trey, only to see the Camels tie the game at 59. Sinani scored four straight points with under 45 seconds to go, including a game-tying trey from the corner with two seconds remaining to force overtime. Following two lead changes and two ties in the overtime period, Duggan regained the loose ball and sank a game-winning baseline jumper with one second left to secure the victory. Aranguren finished with a team-best 14 points for Hofstra. The Pride’s Michael Graham produced a 12-point, 21-rebound double-double, marking the most boards by a Hofstra player since Rokas Gustys on Feb. 15, 2018.


 
Stony Brook 89, N.C. A&T 74

A career-high 31 points from CJ Luster gave Stony Brook (5-16, 1-7 CAA) its first conference win with an 89-74 victory over N.C. A&T (4-18, 0-9 CAA). Luster went 9-of-13 from the floor with four treys and a 9-for-9 showing from the charity stripe. Andre Snoddy chipped in a personal-best 22 points and 13 boards in the win.
 
Both teams combined to see nine different scorers through the first six minutes with the Seawolves’ Leon Nahar finishing the stretch with a trey to give Stony Brook a 13-9 edge. A&T’s Landon Glasper knocked down back-to-back 3-pointers to eventually knot the game at 17 with 11:09 to play. Stony Brook registered the most points in the first half since joining the CAA as it took a 46-35 advantage at the intermission. Ryan Forrest willed the Aggies back into the contest with the squad’s first 16 points of the second half to slash the deficit to four, 55-51, with 13:08 to play in regulation. Luster quickly retaliated with a personal six-point swing in a span of 34 seconds to reclaim a double-digit lead, 61-51. The tandem of Glasper (29 pts.) and Forrest (28 pts.) accounted for 57 of the team’s 74 points in the game, including 35 of the team’s 39 points in the second half alone.


 
 
William & Mary 78, Monmouth 73

William & Mary (13-8, 7-1 CAA) had nine different scorers with Noah Collier scoring a team-best 15 points in a 78-73 victory over Monmouth (5-16, 3-5 CAA). The Tribe scored 22 points off of 21 miscues by the Hawks and had 29 points come from its bench to remain unbeaten at home (9-0).
 
After W&M cruised out to an early seven-point lead, back-to-back triples from Bashir on an 8-0 run gave Monmouth a 13-11 lead. The Hawks grew their lead to as many as nine, 29-20, with under five minutes to play after surging out to a 12-3 run finished off by a pair of layups from Cornelius Robinson Jr. Gabe Dorsey trimmed the Tribe’s deficit to five, 38-33, at halftime with the team’s second 3-pointer of the stanza. The two teams exchanged blows to open the second frame until Bashir concluded an 11-2 spree with another triple to give Monmouth an 11-point lead with 13:05 to play. William & Mary took over on the ensuing possession as Matteus Case jumpstarted a 14-0 scoring stretch with an and-one finish, eventually leading to a three-point lead, 58-55, for the Tribe with 8:44 to go. The Hawks slashed their deficit down to as few as three before W&M’s Dorsey and Case sank back-to-back treys and Isaiah Mbeng sank five free throws to stave off the Hawks for a five-point win. Robinson finished with 20 points on an 8-of-9 clip from the floor and Bashir logged 18 points of his own, while both knocked down four free throws apiece.



 
Drexel 67, Delaware 54

Kobe MaGee registered a 22-point effort with four of his eight makes coming from distance in Drexel’s 67-54 win against Delaware. The Dragons' Cole Hargrove chipped in 10 points, eight boards and three blocks in the winning effort.
 
Neither team led by more than five points in the opening stanza, exchanging six lead changes and two ties through the first 20 minutes. Drexel (12-9, 4-4 CAA) saw six different scorers in the first half alone en route to a 35-32 edge at the break. Delaware’s Cavan Reilly registered 11 of his 17 points in the first half. The Dragons flew out to a double-digit lead as MaGee started and ended the stretch with a trey to give Drexel a 50-40 lead with 12:46 on the clock. The Blue Hens (12-9, 4-4 CAA) trimmed their deficit to as few as four before the Dragons closed the game on a 13-4 run to secure a 13-point win. Erik Timko added 14 points for Delaware on Saturday.
 


 
Charleston 76, Elon 62

Charleston (16-5, 6-2 CAA) handed Elon (14-7, 5-3 CAA) its first home loss of the season with a 76-62 victory behind a collaborative effort from AJ Smith, Ante Brzovic and Lazar Djokovic. Smith led all Cougars with 20 points on 9-of-20 shooting and four rebounds. Brzovic registered his seventh double-double of the season with 18 points, 12 boards and five assists. Djokovic notched 13 points and 11 rebounds to go with four steals.
 
The Cougars and Phoenix went shot-for-shot through the first six minutes, deadlocking at nine following Sam Sherry’s seventh point to start the game. The two teams produced matching 7-0 spurts before exchanging eight lead changes through the under-four media timeout. Charleston’s Elijah Jones rattled off six straight points and CJ Fulton connected on a 3-pointer to put the Cougars ahead by nine with under a minute remaining. With a 35-29 edge at halftime, Smith registered 10 of the first 12 Cougar points of the second stanza to take a 47-35 lead with 15:31 to play. Charleston bumped its lead to as many as 18 down the stretch and maintained a double-digit lead over the final 14:51 of the game. Elon’s Simpkins finished with 20 points on 7-for-12 shooting. Sherry and Nick Dorn also chipped in 15 points apiece.


 
 
UNCW 83, Hampton 62

Khamari McGriff led five UNCW players in double figures with 19 points on 8-of-12 shooting to capture an 83-62 victory over Hampton. Harlan Obioha produced a 14-point, six-board outing, while Noah Ross chipped in 12 points with a 3-for-3 clip from distance. Donovan Newby added 11 points and Greedy Williams registered 10 points to go with seven assists.
 
UNCW (16-5, 6-2 CAA) and Hampton (10-11, 3-6 CAA) traded five deadlocks through the midway point of the first half until the Seahawks notched nine unanswered points capped off by a McGriff finish at the rim for a 24-15 lead with 6:34 left. After the Seahawks increased their lead to as many as 12, Hampton’s Noah Farrakhan slashed the Pirates’ deficit in half with a 3-pointer, part of a 6-0 spurt that brought the visitors to within six, 31-25, with 3:05 remaining in the half. Farrakhan finished with a team-best 15 points. After UNCW took an 11-point lead into halftime, the two teams traded blows until Hampton cut its deficit to seven, 54-47, with consecutive layups from Kyrese Mullen and Wayne Bristol Jr. Shortly after, UNCW held Hampton to just four made field goals and outscored its opponent, 29-15, down the stretch to capture its fourth straight win.
