Credit Union 1 Becomes Official Banking Partner And Credit Union Of The CAA

Richmond, Va. (January 8, 2025) – The Coastal Athletic Association (CAA) is proud to announce that Credit Union 1 — a leading financial institution with a nationwide membership — has become the Official Banking Partner and Official Credit Union of the CAA.

The partnership was secured by Van Wagner, which manages the CAA’s sponsorship and corporate marketing program.

“We are pleased to welcome Credit Union 1 as the Official Banking Partner and Credit Union of the CAA,” CAA Commissioner Joe D’Antonio said. “Credit Union 1’s commitment to excellence and drive to be an industry leader that helps its members reach their financial goals, epitomizes the type of organization that the CAA wants to be associated with. Their support of the Conference’s institutions, and especially our women’s basketball student-athletes, is deeply appreciated.” 

In addition to having a year-round presence for CAA men’s and women’s conference championships, Credit Union 1 will become the title sponsor of the CAA Women's Basketball Championship. The CAA’s basketball championships tip off with the men’s tournament taking place March 7 through 11^th and the women’s event running March 12-16^th. Both championships are played at the Entertainment & Sports Arena in Washington, D.C.

The first 10 games of the CAA Men’s Basketball Championship will air on FloCollege, with CBS Sports Network televising the semifinals and championship. FloCollege will broadcast the first four days of the CAA Women’s Basketball Championship and CBS Sports Network will televise the title game.
