Three CAA Football Teams Ranked Among Top 13 In Latest FCS Top 25 Polls

RICHMOND, Va. (October 20, 2025) – Three CAA Football teams are ranked among the top 13 in the nation according to the latest Stats Perform and AFCA FCS Top 25 polls released on Monday.
Monmouth (6-1), which pulled away for a 49-21 victory over Stony Brook last week, moved up to No. 9 in the AFCA poll and No. 10 in the Stats poll. The Hawks take a four-game winning streak to Hampton on Saturday.
Villanova (5-2) jumped to No. 11 in the Stats poll and No. 12 in the AFCA poll after extending its winning streak to four with a 56-14 triumph over Hampton. The Wildcats, who have won 19 straight at home, welcome UAlbany on Saturday.
Rhode Island (6-2) vaulted to No. 13 in both the Stats and AFCA rankings following a 58-17 at UAlbany last Saturday. The Rams, who are on a 12-game winning streak at Meade Stadium, entertain in-state rival Bryant this week.
