Erik Johansson produced his first top-three finish of the fall season at the Furman Intercollegiate to secure CAA Men’s Golfer of the Week on Wednesday.

Erik Johansson turned in a season-best third-place finish in the field of 87 after carding a 2-under 211 to lead Campbell to its best team finish of the fall with a runner-up effort at the Furman Intercollegiate. The Swedish golfer sank 12 birdies and shot a 5-under in par-5 scoring, both also tied for third among the group. His second top-10 finish of the season was highlighted by shooting under par in his final two rounds. After a strong back nine to finish round one at 1-over, Johansson countered with a 1-under in the second round to break even heading into the final day. The junior birdied twice on the first eight holes of round three before sinking three more on the back nine to finish at 2-under.
