North Carolina A&T's Kennedy Receives Two National FCS Awards

RICHMOND, Va. (October 27, 2025) – North Carolina A&T junior returner/wide receiver
Elijah Kennedy received a pair of national awards following his impressive performance in the Aggies’ 28-24 victory over Campbell last Saturday.
Kennedy was chosen as the Stats Perform FCS National Special Teams Player of the Week and was also honored as the HBCU National Co-Player of the Week by BOXTOROW.
Kennedy was show-stopping in the fourth quarter of A&T’s comeback over Campbell. His 96-yard punt return for a touchdown with 6:12 left to play tied a school record as well as the game at 21-21. After the Camels went ahead on a field goal, Kennedy returned the ensuing kickoff 85 yards for the game-winning touchdown with 1:29 left. The first Aggie with kickoff and punt return TDs in the same game posted the FCS season high for combined return yards (201) and caught four passes for 27 yards.
