Three CAA Football Teams Remain Ranked In FCS Top 25 Polls

RICHMOND, Va. (October 6, 2025) – Three CAA Football teams remain ranked in this week’s FCS Top 25 polls released by Stats Perform and the AFCA.
Monmouth (4-1), which defeated Delaware State, 49-38, moved up to No. 11 in the AFCA poll and No. 12 in the Stats poll. The Hawks resume CAA play on Saturday as they travel to Towson.
Rhode Island (4-2) fell to No. 17 in the Stats rankings and No. 18 in the AFCA rankings following a 28-21 loss to Brown last Friday. The Rams return home for a conference matchup against New Hampshire this week.
Villanova (3-2) rose to No. 17 in the AFCA poll and stayed at No. 18 in the Stats poll after a 37-7 victory at New Hampshire last week. The Wildcats are back on the road at Elon on Saturday.
Elon (4-2), which picked up a 17-3 road win at Towson last week, received votes in the AFCA poll.
